That fact was on my mind when I took these. The whole eastern part of the country is suffering with the terrible storms.

I am really glad to be able to help the folks as they traverse this terrible scenario.

How did I get that picture? It was not hard at all.

I spotted the eucalyptus branches and then I saw this little sprig standing up. It was ready-made to be the center of my photo. So I zoomed in a bit, keeping the sprig centered in my viewfinder, adjusted the exposure and took the photo. Easy.

I did a little post-processing to make it clearer and sharper but those moves were pretty easy as well.

Hope this answers your question!

Oh, how I envy you for your warm weather! It has been so bitterly cold here in southeast Michigan for the past month. I don't remember it ever being so frigid for so long before. It may well have happened before, but I don't remember it. Looks like the highs will be in the 30s next week and I am so looking forward to that!

Anyway, I digress. I just wanted to compliment your beautiful photos and thank you once again for posting them for us.

Best regards,
MIButterfly

P.S. Congratulations on your 21st DUversary!
