(15,023 posts)Looking at the USGS map, it looks like it was the Hayward Fault, which is quite overdue for some action :yikes:
I lived in the Bay during the '89 Loma Prieta, no way would I wanna do that again!

(1,202 posts)I'm in San Jose and felt it pretty strongly. It seemed to last a bit too. Kind of scary since it's been so long since we've had one of that size. You always wonder, "Is this the one..."

I'm also 5.0 miles from the 1989 Loma Prieta epicenter and just barely above the tsunami zone!
