CAPITAL WEATHER GANG!
Who had THUNDERSNOW today (Friday)? It was pretty wild and the Washington Monument was struck by lightning for the second time this week (

). The squalls came on suddenly, winds howled, the snow ripped and BOOM.
Many parts of the area got a quick coating. This was just an appetizer for the storm late Sunday night into Monday.
WINTER IS ON.
