In Flint Michigan there is a 'monument' called 'The Block'. It's a community art project. Today it is glorious

'The Block' has been a big part of Flint's art scene for as long as I can remember. Sometimes it is decorated to celebrate things like birthdays. Sometimes it is beautifully covered in graffiti. Sometimes it's a memorial AND sometimes it's decorated in a political message. That sometime is now. I've also included a link to an article featuring other examples of this wonderful block of concrete.
