LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen wants to remind early voters of the upcoming deadline for the Lincoln General Election.
Early vote ballots must be received no later than 8 a.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 6.
The Election Commission has received about 7,200 of the 30,500 early vote ballots it has issued for the election.
Wiltgen said Tuesday is the last day ballots should be mailed to allow the U.S. Postal Service to process them. From now until election day, the best method to return ballots would be to drop them off at one of the secure drop boxes listed below:
