I live in New Hampshire (obviously). I'm not a native but have lived her most of my life and my grandparents on both sides lived here. I live on the southern edge of the White Mts, with my home literally on the side of a mountain. I work a little ways west of Nashua, and have a daughter who lives on the Seacoast.

I have been on DU since just after Obama was inaugurated, and have served as moderator for the past two years. Being a host here in the New Hampshire group is not likely to be a demanding job. I don't expect a lot of trolls will be interested, and it's hard to imagine this being the site of major dramas. But just in case, my philosophy is to maintain a light touch. Let people talk about the things they want to talk about, as long as they are respectful and follow DU rules.

The most important task, I think, would be trying to attract people to come and post here, to make this a more active group than it has ever been in the past.
