Today's Telegraph Tale of the Loonislature: O'Brien is proposing to restrict welfare EBT purchases to gummint approved items, part of his effort to decrease regulation and shrink government while at the same time proposing to end all regulation of home schooling, freeing up fundaloons of the onerous requirement to teach their home schooled children the same curriculum required of all other schools.

I actually don't care anymore about the last bit. It is fine with me if the children of the theocratic right are going to be raised with severe disadvantages as they enter the job market. Good. I know it is not the child's fault they were born to deliberate idiots, but there have to be consequences for idiotic behavior. Eventually this will sort itself out. The gene pool that promulgates idiocy will shrink. The mighty invisible hand of the Dark Lord Darwin will separate the wheat from the chaff.
