A new Siena Research Institute poll will likely make Governor Kathy Hochul quite happy.
They found 49% of people have a favorable opinion of her, while 40% have an unfavorable opinion.
Hochul’s job approval rating is at 54%, compared with 41% who disapprove.
Hochul also holds a 54%–28% lead over her Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman among New York State registered voters.
Hochul’s own lieutenant governor, Antonio Delgado, is running against her for the Democratic nomination.
Hochul holds a commanding lead against him among Democrats — 64% to 11%.
