GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) A local musician and former pornography store clerk who was named in former Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinsons since-dismissed defamation suit has filed his own suit against Robinson.
Louis Love Money filed the lawsuit in Guilford County Superior Court on Tuesday, seeking relief for alleged malicious prosecution and abuse of process. These two claims stem from a defamation lawsuit Robinson filed in 2024 shortly after The Assembly and CNN broke separate stories on Robinsons reported relationship with pornography in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
Money told The Assembly in an interview that Robinson was a frequent customer of the porn shop where he worked as a clerk. Shortly before the interview, in August 2024, his band Trailer Park Orchestra released a track entitled The Lieutenant Governor Owes Me Money, alleging Robinson had not paid for some bootleg pornography tapes he had purchased from Money.
CNNs story used biographical details and leaked personal information from a forum called NudeAfrica to connect Robinson to several offensive and salacious statements posted on the website in the early 2000s, such as referring to himself as a black NAZI!!! and admitting to peeping on women in showers at North Carolina A&T State University when he was young.
