We meet at Stage West Theater (821 West Vickery Blvd Fort Worth). Time is 10:00 am. Date is May 10, a Saturday.
(I can't believe I messed up the date. My only excuse is my "Office Assistant" a very large black tabby cat kept hindering me.)
If you don't quite know who she is, many folks will remember her great writing for the FW Star-Telegram
We socialize with pastry and coffee until 10:30 then have our meeting.
After the meeting please feel free to join us at Prima Pasta and Pizza on South Hulen @ Granbury Road for great food, large portions, very reasonable prices, and you BringYourOwnBottle (of wine). Owners are staunch Democrats. What more could you ask, right?
We always have plenty of wine at the table, which we share. It is the wildest wine tasting you have ever seen
Hope to see you there !!!
This group was the first Democratic Woman's Club in Texas and the first grass roots Democratic group in Tarrant County. The club began when Al Smith ran for president because he was against Prohibition. Considering our lunches, not much has changed.
Our 100th anniversary is fast approaching!
