Unsubscribe? I don’t see any way to turn off notifications of new posts or replies otherwise.

the problem is that I've been here for years and never had any highlight other than replies. I do LBN and GD. After the last software update, the subscription highlight is always on. What am I supposed to unsubscribe to??

I am starting to read in the gardening forum. I go to the lounge occasionally. I just find it very distracting to have the highlight always on. If it can't be fixed, ok. I just thought I could get it fixed.

You’ll be taken to your Subscriptions page. On that page you should see any people or forums that you’re subscribed to. Click through to each one and hit the Unsubscribe button for each.

When I open My Subs, the light goes out, even though I see that there are articles that I haven't read.

I guess you could try unsubscribing to threads and/or people.

Seriously, I have not found a way to get rid of that yellow highlight nuisance either. Sometimes, when I am multi-tasking on DU, the highlight throws me off.

If you don’t want the tab to light up, clear your Subscriptions.

I'm pretty sure there was an option in MyDu that allowed you to toggle the notification highlight or colour between a couple of versions.

This seems to have been removed - I don't have a clue how long ago, but maybe this is why we're all seeing the same standard highlight for subscribed groups.

So sadly, as buzzy... said above, it seems you'll need to unsubscribe.

PS - I really understand - seeing the yellow makes me anxious!
