Sad Words

“Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.”

Long time, not happy times. Not posting much now but this is my honest reaction to that clear observation of truth...

1/ Sigh, let loose a few tears, now rationed.
2/ Deep breath (between CV and another choking, each simple breath is a gift to be appreciated)
3/ Let it out slowly, and get up again tomorrow. One step at a time.

What we do.
Wishing us all the best, and some return to a semblance of sanity.
To fight darkness, one sometimes has only the light they have storehoused for times like these.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
