~~I've gained weight~~ My suit pants have somehow shrunk since the last time I wore them. I may have to wear a pair of black slacks with my black pinstripe suit jacket. How noticeable will that be?

I can't help you. I haven't worn a suit in 14 years. Tech folks have a rep for being a bit quirky so I wouldn't worry about it.
