University of Arkansas is looking for experienced Z/OS System Programmer.

That's because I turned in my letter of resignation: I'm finally retiring!

They have posted the opening on Dice.com and on uark.edu. It reads for someone with 10 years experience.

Really, it's a simple shop with a ZBC12 and Z/OS 2.1, 3 LPARs, and a Natural/ADABAS database.

Required skills is installation, maintenance, and problem determination. Good, basic knowledge of SMPE, RACF, TCPIP, and some third-party products like SAS, CA, and $AVRS.

Salary is around $70K. Benefits are good. If you have college age children, they can attend the university at 50% tuition. Located in Fayetteville, AR.
