Ohio streamer iShowSpeed rides in a Chinese hydrogen-powered flying car for first time in milestone event
Ben Thompson | Apr 07, 2025
Ohio streamer iShowSpeed took a ride in a Chinese hydrogen-powered flying car for the first time.

Speed is known for doing bold and exciting things, but taking to the skies quite literally next level. As exciting as this flight looked to his viewers, you could tell he was petrified.

Given how poorly most people drive on the road, adding the 3rd dimension (air), will result in lots and lots and lots of crashes.
The reality is, until some genuinely reliable AI is in control, flying cars won't happen.

As in there's no human operating anything at all? Why am I skeptical of that claim.
Electric cars they make and have a lot of. Not self-driving.

(35,718 posts)3. Given that Chinese hydrogen production is responsible for close to 1% of world CO2 emissions...
...and given that the planet is burning as the result of stupid consumer toys, I regard this particular piece of shit toy as an obscenity, but that's just me.
