Green hydrogen on tap, made right on site
This isnt your average fuel stop. The $61.2 million site features
a powerful 2.5MW electrolyser that cranks out green hydrogen, made from nothing but recycled water and renewable electricity. Its all part of a bigger push to build up Australias hydrogen infrastructure and support the shift to zero-emission technology.
Fueling the future fast
Designed with busy fleet operators in mind, the station can refuel up to 10 hydrogen-powered trucks, buses, or garbage vehicles in under two hours. And its not just about hydrogen EV fast chargers are built in too, so electric fleets can plug in and power up just as easily...snip
All in all,
Viva Energys new station isnt just a first its a glimpse of where things are headed. A scalable, multi-energy transport hub like this could set the tone for hydrogen and zero-emission technology rollouts right across Australia...more
