Springfield, Missouri -- A 23-year-old Springfield man is facing an arson charge, and a felony animal cruelty charge, for intentionally burning down a shed where his girlfriend's cats were held.
Tragically, the blaze killed all 10 cats, who were trapped inside the shed with no way to escape.

On April 9, police arrested Aiden Kinnee and booked him into the Greene County Jail.
Kinnee was charged with second-degree Arson and a Class E Felony Animal Cruelty.
If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison on the arson charge and four years in prison on the animal cruelty charge.

We demand that he face the maximum penalty allowed by law.
This case absolutely cannot be dismissed or result in a slap-on-the-wrist sentence.

2. Anybody who ever did any kind of harm to one of my cats would have to go to the police themselves

to get protection from me and I'm not a violent person.

What an asshole. Give him the maximum sentence which is still not enough as far as I'm concerned.

four years for 'each' cat; to be served consecutively. with no chance for parole.

4. An eye for an eye sounds right to me. He should know and feel the terror those

trapped kitties felt.

5. I had to be dismissed from jury duty

when I was called for a case involving ongoing cruelty to many dogs. I told the judge that I believed in capital punishment for anyone who abuses animals. I was home in time for lunch but I was honest. There was no way in hell I could have been impartial.
