What Russia's and Iran's major new strategic partnership treaty is all about - DW News

Iran and Russia are expected to sign a major new strategic partnership treaty during a visit to Moscow by Iran's president.

Masoud Pezeshkian has been holding talks with President Vladimir Putin before signing the deal. The Kremlin says it covers areas from trade and military cooperation to science, education and culture. Both sides are looking to deepen their relations in the face of Western sanctions.

The wealthy have investments and aren't worried about getting food each day, but the poor in these targeted countries end up suffering the most. We need to focus on ending any international arms sales not just the ones we don't like. As weapons are often used against a country's own citizens.
