Russia builds state of total control - Eastern Express - TVP WORLD
Russias internet crackdown is going far beyond VPNs. Authorities are building a system based on white-listed websites, restricted access, and deeper control over digital infrastructure. The FSBs role in monitoring and shaping internet traffic is expanding as part of this shift. Instead of outright bans, users are being steered into a narrower, state-approved online space. In this episode of Eastern Express, host Jonasz Rewiński is joined by Bill Browder, head of The Global Magnitsky Justice Campaign, to explains how Russia is redesigning the internet itself and what that means for control, access, and information.
