Palestine Action to be banned after RAF base break in

The home secretary will move to proscribe the Palestine Action group in the coming weeks, effectively branding them as a terrorist organisation, the BBC understands.

Yvette Cooper is preparing a written statement to put before Parliament on Monday - which if passed will make becoming a member of the group illegal.

The decision comes as a security review begins at military bases across the UK, after pro-Palestinian activists broke into RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and sprayed two military planes with red paint.

A spokesperson for Palestine Action said: "When our government fails to uphold their moral and legal obligations, it is the responsibility of ordinary citizens to take direct action."

In our upside down world, peace activists protesting genocide are called terrorists while the perpetrators of state-sponsored terror and a genocide are the "good guys".

Some of them are terrorist supporters. Israel is defending itself from terrorism, the genocide claim is just an antisemetic libel.

Yeah a guy carrying a poster from the ISLAMIC Human Rights Commission - a consultative body of the UN and advisory to EU bodies - must be a terrorist that proves that the entire protest was run by terrorists and that the entire Palestine Action group are all terrorists!!

Genocide claims require dolus specialis, special intent. Israel states they have eliminated 23,000 fighters, and even using Hamas's 50K number that yields an almost 1:1 ratio of combatants vs. civilians which is considered exceptional. And despite some marginal members of Netanyahu's cabinet saying crazy stuff because they are rightwing nuts Israel is clearly not engaged in genocide. Their stated intent is to destroy Hamas once and for all. It's not Israels fault that Hamas has created a 300 mile tunnel system in Gaza with stolen funds that go underneath hospitals, schools, mosques etc. making it hard for Israel to extirpate Hamas.

If Israel really wanted to genocide the Gazans they’d be all dead by now if we are going to be honest.
