No problems noted, but takes a high dose for effectiveness (which is safe acc. to Wiki).

Allegra makes me sleepy. It's not supposed to, but I react like I've taken a few benadryl.

I tried them all...Allegra, Claritin, zirtec, also the otc stuff. the big 3 didn't work for me at all. the otc stuff that you have to show id for works, but makes me drowsy, so I only took half of the recommended dosage, it took the edge off.

Someone suggested I try Flonase. after3 days, all seasonal allergy symptoms vanished !! I'm hoping that it continues to work for years ti come !!

Good luck, allergies can be miserable.....

Inexpensive and hasn't failed yet. You have to sign for it at the pharmacy but no prescription necessary.

OTC Claritin. I am not given to depression, but a week of Claritin and I was in a depression so black, I couldn't get out of bed. It ended as soon as I stopped taking it.

Glad you got out of it. Been taking generic claritin, but too much sneezing (but NOT now, maybe just during certain hours???)

It really made me feel for those who do have depression, though. I can't imagine living with that.
