The Disappearance Of Shere Hite R 2023 ‧ Amazon Prime

This is a documentary about the life and work of Shere Hite, a feminist "sexologist" who published books on human sexuality like The Hite Report, and Women in Love. She had great success in the US at the height of the womens' movement, but eventually she could no longer publish in the US. She renounced her US citizenship and moved to Europe with her German husband. She died in 2020.
Its a sad story, and it reveals the intolerance this country has towards feminism.
Highly recommended.
