Barbecue burger using Beyond and South Carolina style BBQ sauce.
Coleslaw which I made using a mayo-based dressing.
Cherry-cider kombucha.
Hope to bake something for dessert tonight, like a seasonal type cake.

It might be a sad meal of desperation, but I will enjoy it.

(41,876 posts)First time I've ever seen one. These were kind of small, and were a tan color. I think they looked a bit like the shape of the acorn squash?

(111 posts)A lot like butternut but more colorful, tastier, and easy to peel. It was developed, I believe, from Dan Barber who thought butternut squash had been bred to be sturdy but rather tasteless.

(1,634 posts)Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, red bell pepper, cut green beans and minced garlic. When almost done I added sliced mushrooms, air-fried crispy tofu, red pepper flakes and a dollop of Miyokos butter. When finished I added some cooked brown rice and chopped fresh parsley. Cheers! 🥂
