I have a chicken pot pie in the slow cooker, along with some baby multi-colored potatoes. The idea is to smash the little potatoes and add sour cream, turkey bacon bits, and cheddar cheese.
Chopped salad, made up of sliced spring mix, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, and radish. I'm making a new French dressing for this.
Kombucha: Pineapple.
Dessert: Stewed apples, cinnamon, and Greek yogurt, vanilla, over the top.
I'm glad I have a good supply of food in the house. The private road is still icy and snowy. I was supposed to go to work today but I didn't want to risk getting stuck again. We are at least getting mail service now.

(8,491 posts)As there are only 2 of us plus 2 dogs and a cat who all get some table scrap goodies in their food every day, there is a lot of turkey left over.
Thinking of making some rice pilaf with celery and onion and seasoned with sage along with the usual stuff and sliced turkey for tonight. Spinach with garlic along side.

(1,804 posts)Steamed the sausages in the same pot as my broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms. I added Dijon mustard to the broccoli when it was done. Also made air-fried sweet potato nuggets and red cabbage. Cheers!🥂

(19,295 posts)TJ made it. It was hot and filling, but with a cold in ma dose I didn't smell or taste it. TJ has had a cold for a while and I truly thought I'd avoided it. Oh well.
I'd ask her what she put in the casserole other than the chicken and some stuffing, but she and Ducky are napping.
I've spent the last two afternoons busting up frozen clumps of snow with a pick and tossing the clumps away. Shoveling is still not a possibility. It is "snowcrete." I might just be able to move my car tomorrow. I am worn out.
