(1,991 posts)My brother called this afternoon and invited us to an impromptu hockey playoff watching party/potluck at his house so I just made 2 flatbread pizzas with vegan cheese, sliced mushrooms and red onion. On our way over to his house in a few minutes. Face off is at 7 for the first game in the 2nd series. Folks in Buffalo are hockey crazed right now. Go Sabres! Cheers!🥂
Well be singing along with folks who are in the arena to O Canada. Most Buffalo Sabre fans know the tune well and like belting it out
as most of the nation saw in one of last weeks game.

(23,434 posts)I pet sat for my best friend's younger sister. Remember I described my friend's kitchen as similar to a dorm room or camp? That seems to run in the family, so I had very plain meals while I was visiting.
I went shopping today. When I got home, I enjoyed pulling pots and pans, utensils, dishes, and tableware from the cupboards, drunk with the joy of having them at hand
I made a dinner combining fresh, frozen and leftover items into a pleasant dinner. I had an eggroll, some pot stickers, ramen noodles dressed up with some frozen mixed vegs and chicken I cooked and froze before I left. I had a pack of fresh mushrooms, and I stuffed those. I had frozen blueberries and topping for dessert.
Happy Wednesday!
