I guess I will give it a few weeks...maybe it will rebound. My Big Daddy looks like he will come out of it ok.

I would guess it may have killed the new foliage, but should eventually put out new growth.

I would wait - make sure it is watered and watch...feed once the green shows again.

I've found hydrangeas to be quite hardy.
