Most of our yard is wildflowers and ferns we get the daisies and foxglove in June lots of lily's and Black Eyed Susan's later. Some areas in the rocks my wife has planted more domestic flowers. We get a lot of hawks a month ago I was lucky enough to spot a red tail on a dead hemlock. Just last week I saw the fawn.

Made an arbor for the honeysuckle it was supported by a dead tree stump that finally fell over. We rooted some cuttings to grow over the other side.

It must be nice to have such a big yard out in the country where you can see so much wildlife. Looks like a lovely place.

3. Its beautiful here

We live in the Catskills we are in a valley. Down our 13 percent grade road is the roundout reservoir not much flat land here, my big garden is all in containers in stands on the hill. Winters used to be great, good snowfall for x county skiing but last 4 winters have been so mild the snow comes down and melts in a few days. I grew of on LI back in the 70's I hated the flat and houses so close. Great bagels and pizza though and knishs.

4. Love the photos. We haven't had any does with fawns around this year. In fact, the lack of deer

is just odd. I'm keeping my eyes out for bear. We had trees cut off a portion of bank around the power lines and it's now overgrown with wild raspberries. The berries are coming along and, I expect, it might become a bear buffet. I don't mind as long as I see them before they see me.

Looks like a lovely place. I'm hoping to create a refuge in my yard with native plants. Taking awhile as some take years to mature.
