Muffin Set Back

We’re back from the Vet and Muffin is in hiding again. I think we’re back to ground zero with her. We took her to the vet because she’d been sneezing and had a runny nose. She got a shot and some medicine to sprinkle on her food, but the Vet said she was a very healthy cat otherwise.

Sigh. She was really feeling much more relaxed around us, and now we have this set back. And we have an appointment to have her spayed in a week! So, that will be another traumatizing thing for her to go through. I’m not sure I’ll even be able to catch her again by then.

She'll probably bounce back in a day or two. She just needs some time to adjust and she'll be okay. Please keep us posted on her progress. For some cats, it just takes a little longer.

I wish you and Muffin all the best! She'll come around. You'll see.

And she rubbed against our legs, then checked her food bowls. I was so relieved! The relationship we’ve been building with her is stronger than I thought, thank goodness.
