KC's not real rarin' to go today.


"And how may I fulfill every wish and whim for you today?"

Laurie had a plant thingy inside for a time. KC loved to chomp on it.

He loves windowsills.


He likes to pretend he's hiding out.


One evening he watched intently as I brushed my teeth,
so I showed him the toothbrush. He sniffed. That was all.

KC is serious about grooming. It's like Groomliness is next
to Purrfection.

Stretched out, he is a long cat.

"Yawn. Are we almost done here?"

But KC may be happiest of all cuddling with Mommy.

5. In my head it was Monday. Polly. I did amend the post's' title, for what it's worth. OOPS!

I've been focused on hosting this photo contest, which began today. So when I got up early, my hyper--sleep-deprived brain said you gotta do KC's post TODAY. So I did.

Nah, I don't feel foolish, thank you. I'm a little nervous about the contest. It's only
my second. I do remember some of what the first one was like and that it turned
out alright. Grumpy Old Guy's on "speed dial". But I'll be glad when it's done.

9. Yay! KC Sunday! What a pleasant surprise

Any day with KC is a good day. I have a picture frame (with a picture of my previous cat Boots in it) that says: Here Kitty! Chase a shadow across the floor, then curl up in my lap a while. Now you're such a lazy fur ball contented little puss asleep all day. Such a casual kitty, and so full of mischief. You are an independent spirit. And frisky! Who would guess you're the ruler of the house? Meow."
