Related: About this forumThis made me smile yesterday. Saw a lab puppy ready to get into pup camp.
The owner told me pup is seven months old and yesterday was day two of attending pup play camp.
Yet when the owner opened the door pup was ready exiting the car a perfect exit that would have made a jump master proud jumping out of the car over his Hoomans lap out the driver side landing on Mother Earth splat.
Then recovering pulling on the leash tail wagging as to say come on i have to go and get inside to play. And the pup in his enthusiasm forgot that there was a door and ran his head into it THUMP.
Dogs are so innocent and pure so glad they chose us thousands of years ago.

(154,595 posts)who demands that I "pay a toll" (a treat) to come through the front door. Then if I walk over to sit on the sofa, I am of course "in his spot" (which of course, is the whole sofa), so he jumps up on the sofa where I am sitting, and then jams his 100+ lb self behind my back so we can "share" the spot.
If I move to one of the chairs, he jumps off and then promptly sits on my foot.

He's 10 years old now and still thinks he's half the size and a puppy.

(20,913 posts)At one extreme, there are great danes who want to sit on people's laps and at the other, there are tiny chihuahuas who guard their homes with the ferocity of a grizzly bear! And of course there are lots of grown dogs who don't realize they're actually no longer puppy sized. It's funny how common that sort of thing is.
