There are 3 players who have hit a home run in 8 consecutive games.

6 players have homered in 7 consecutive games….. Mike Trout, Angels; Joey Votto, Reds; Kendrys Morales, Blue Jays; Kevin Mench, Rangers; Barry Bonds, Giants; Jim Thome, Cleveland.

His HR binge happened the year I was born.
Weird thing is, he hit homers in 8 straight games, but only hit 27 all year!
19 in the other 140 games he played.
Even weirder is that despite this outburst, he had only 3 seasons if over 20 HR. And, he only had 132 for his 13 year >1000 game career.
Just had the week of his career, I guess.
