Oh Crap, I think LilBit just talked to Dad!

A couple hours ago. I’m kinda doing my thing, cooking cleaning blah blah. Was washing dishes after lunch, and she up and grabbed me, hard. So I asked, do you need a hug? And bent over.
She didn’t wanna a hug, she put her fingers in my mouth. That’s always been her signal, “ say it again”.
I’m thinking, I’m just washing dishes? What do I need to say? Then after about 4 “dad idiot minutes”. I was humming, for whatever reason while i washed dishes.
As I do sing a bit, I just started singing a song. She clapped, danced. And I realized, there’s been no music here. Long story short, I connected to BT speaker again and watched her. Yep. She rocked. Then I put on some karaoke tunes and tried to sing again. She stopped dancing, gave me the hug sign.
And I realized, I had 4 passions in my life, MrsK, LilBit, and music. LilBit had same, and so did MrsK.
So tried the karaoke songs , voice rough, but ok, but I started crying, not the song, it just felt good to feel passion again.
So as music plays, I’m thinking, I didn’t lose all my passions, love, I lost a fourth of them. We still have 3/4 ths left.

7. Update

My throat hurts so bad. I sang too much. LilBit is still fast asleep, she hasn’t even hardly moved. And I realized, the tv on all night was a MrsK thing. I had to adjust to that when I met her.
I believe this is LilBit’s first time she slept without a tv on.
Maybe this music thing, was helping both of us? Not only me singing, but her sleeping? I don’t know.

At least I love her well enough, to “hear” her.
Like I always tell her, “ dad is a bit slower, but I’ll get there”
