I’m gonna post this here, hoping that it will help. MrsK passed 16 months ago.
My life had been , and still is LilBit.
This morning we did our usual , grocery( I buy food by the day, it gets Lil out and about) , buy cigs, get LilBit a coke.
Uhm the grocery clerk said hi to us and said” would you guys have dinner with me?”
I panicked, said “ uhm. Not today “ I’m such an idiot.
I went back and talked her , LilBit and I will be going on a date.
My point here, I never thought when she died. I could even think about another woman, I was so taking care of LilBit. LilBit is 35 I’m 62. My mind was “ no one needs my baggage “
Well I was wrong . We all grieve in our own way.
May take 1 sweek, or 1 year, or a second, but
There is light at the end , just do you! I did
