Bereavement
Related: About this forumTwo friends of mine have passed.
They died from injuries sustained in a house fire.
Their names were Jack and Matt. I knew them because we were in the same choir. They'd been a couple for a long time.
If you pray, or meditate, or just send good thoughts - I'd really appreciate that.
Peace to everyone.

(29,685 posts)I lost a long-term friend this week, too. I'm devastated, but I also feel strangely dissociated, which I guess is a grief coping mechanism.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
