Does accidentally touching the 'alert' button

on my phone while scrolling actually send it or do I have to do something else to make it official? It's so easy to do I've accidentally touched it a few times while scrolling through different threads as I am left-handed. I have never intentionally alerted on a thread or post.

Alert is a multi-step process, so you can just click alert again to clear it, or just move on to another post.

No harm no foul.

3. I hit it constantly while trying to hit Rec.

I always use my phone, I'm not sure what the layout is on a computer screen. It would make more sense for me to use the computer.

4. The buttons are very close on the phone, lol.

5. I hate using a phone for DU, actually most everything.

Hard to type. Infinitely easy to hit the wrong thing (often disastrous) ...
