How do I get rid of this annoying video pop?

It keeps showing up on the bottom right every time I click another link and the “x” to close the pop is too doggone small.

1. No doubt an ad. Get ye a star membership, and ads go away.

That said, I think that the admins don't want advertisers to pop up video ads, and will probably had a word with them.

Just my guess.

I also use an ad-blocker or 2 or 3 or 4.

AND support DU with a star membership.

But membership is cheap and easy.

3. At times, a big contribution gets one a gift membership to give, IIRC, but I don't know when.

I have asked the admins to allow this any old time, but it must be a lot of extra effort to do it outside of the big fund drive.

There are small fund-raisers all year long that bag you a membership renewal, and I do that a lot.

Payment has been by PayPal or snail mail but there's a new Stripe option, says EarlG.

I hate PayPal, but I use it as a guest without an account, and I also use ApplePay so that PayPal does not see my credit card number, only some one-time nonsense code that is safe from hackers and embezzlers.

Enjoy the ride. It's very nice without ads and there are other perks.
