Family, friends mourn protester killed in 'No Kings' protest shooting - KSL News Utah



Police said Utah resident Arthur Folasa Ah Loo died after he was shot during the “No Kings” demonstration in downtown Salt Lake City Saturday night. - 06/16/2025.

Arturo Gamboa is alleged to have pulled a rifle out, aimed it at the protestors and, in the confusion, a man who was part of the event's peacekeeping team fired at Gamboa but hit Ah Loo instead.

A tragedy in so many, many ways . . .
