The smartest people in many fields including science, technology, medicine, social sciences, etc. are also looking for opportunities abroad. The future of advanced academic and scientific research are bleak in the US. And if trump succeeds in establishing an empire/monarchy, all people treasuring knowledge better look elsewhere.
