for many Appalachian maga this snake guy must be like john the Baptist.

'they take up serpents" or some totally irrelevant scripture.

Every once in a while, one loses a finger or a life. Those are the ones you should feel sorry for. They died because their faith wasn't strong enough. Therefore, they are not going to join Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey in paradise.
