The rash looks like garden-variety Shingles. I'd love to be wrong and find out that it's an untreatable Death Rash, but I have way better fantasies.

diagnosis of shingles. And am so thankful it is so visible for all the world to see!

As a person who had chicken pox as a child I also had the shingles vaccination when it was made available.

A word to those who haven't -GET THE SHOT.

I don't think shingles can kill you. But, I understand it can make you wish you were dead.
