With Chief Judge Boesberg finding the Trump Administration in criminal contempt, there are 2 chess moves left for the Judge: 1) the Judge refers the case to Trump's DOJ to prosecute those the judge finds in contempt, but they refuse to prosecute themselves; 2) the Judge appoints a special prosecutor outside the executive branch like, let's say, Jack Smith, to prosecute the case.
