I'm no expert on Army stuff...only 4 of my 23 years in the military were in the Army and I was a medic (91B/91F)...medics weren't well known for hardcore military bearing in the early 70's...I do know that I much preferred route step to parade marching to a cadence...on the other hand, I did get my weekly workout in during yesterday's gathering with 4,000 some odd like-minded folks on the streets of suburban Portland, OR...I do agree with Mr Global that yesterday was not likely a morale boosting exercise...cheers, OSD
