The demand for a single "leader" of the Dem Party is disingenuous [View all]

I keep hearing various pundits and corporate news journalists and even a few misguided Dem politicians bemoaning the lack of a single Democratic leader. The fact that there is not one "official" leader of the party 3 and half years out from the next election really seems to bother them.

I can't help but think, though, that what some really want is someone to tear down and begin the long process of "dirtying up" like they did to Hillary so successfully, Kerry before that, and most recently, Joe Biden.

Sorry, but I think that Dems know that a moving target is harder to take out. Plus, since diversity and a plethora of great candidates with popular positions are our strengths, we don't need to rally around one person like some kind of cult.
