It'll take a dozen or seats in the House to flip for an impeachment resolution to pass. There will be a lot of resistance from Republicans, of course, and the right wing media.

But, as you know, the Senate is the key for removal. It will have to be a catastrophic circumstance for Republicans to vote for Trump's removal. I just don't see that happening because these asshole Republicans are so far up Trump's backside that it seems unlikely they will turn on him.

Unless it becomes a total shit show. Then anything could happen. However, my fear is that if we reach that inflection point, the US will have been so damaged that its recovery will take years beyond my lifetime.
