I would imagine that the chair was marked in some way as an exhibit. Even if it wasn’t, people should have the common sense to realize that a chair that is covered in crystals is not the kind of thing you should sit on. For a selfie, no less. It’s bad enough that they broke the thing, but it’s inexcusable that they ran from the scene.
