Nothing. The idea that there could be a 'discussion' which implies informed back and forth is ridiculous. As if there is a decision to be made.

Trump is going to show up and read the script he is handed. Maybe they spent the time to talk him into it, maybe they didn't. Either way, they promised it would make him look strong.....or good.....or something.
