15. That's what I've noticed lately - along with endless rage, boredom. Debilitating, enervating boredom.

He doesn't read, doesn't work, doesn't understand. He's incapable of doing anything, but understands at some primitive level that he's expected to read, work and understand to do his job, and the very idea bores him to tears.

Then he goes and meets with people who do their jobs, and realizes his utter vacuity. That feeds the rage, which feeds the tantrums.
