There are at least 3 issues on which Democratic surrogates should carefully the pot.
The tax bill - there’s division between GOP Reps that don’t want more Medicare cuts because their districts will be decimated and those who want deeper cuts. The debt ceiling will need to be raised which pisses off fiscal hawks.
Immigration - Trump is targeting blue states! We need to point out apparently Trump will let red states keep undocumented immigrants. Hypocrisy! This will anger the Reich wing who want mass deportations.
Israel/Iran - MAGA says they want no more involvement. Democrats should point out that, like Ukraine, we are already involved. No way we aren’t providing intel, weapons, and aid. Stir the damn pot. MAGA is getting very nervous about US participation there.
We must do whatever possible to divide the Reich! Foment civil war! Weaken their base!
