but he also needs a majority of the cabinet to go along. But the cabinet members want to keep their own jobs and power, and Vance could fire them and replace them with his own people, which he's likely to do considering that right now he doesn't have his own base. With Trump gone there will be a huge power struggle, and Vance has all the charisma of a garden slug, so he'll want a cabinet of tech bros, not Trump's incompetent MAGA retreads. Vance is a creep but he's smart enough to know that he can't run a government with the current pack of idiots who probably don't like him already because nobody does. Unless Trump is actually in a coma and it gets too difficult to keep doing the Weekend at Bernie's thing with him, I don't expect any action on the 25th.
