3. We got an offer for my late mother-in-law's house

It’s in an upscale neighborhood in a tony suburb of D.C. The neighborhood comps were $800K -&950K. The vultures offered $400K “as is.”

Thankfully, my SIL (the executor) wisely told them to “piss off!”
